November 6, 1951 meeting of Alpha Phi Omega was called to order at 7:34 p.m. in Room 11 of the physical education building. A report of the committee was heard, also heard was the treasurer’s report.
Having disposed of the business meeting it was decided to split up into committee meetings and later reconvene. Motion was made by the treasurer and passed, that $.50 dues would be expected from each member this semester, payable the 13th of November to defray the cost of stationery, stamps, and other miscellaneous expenses of that nature.
The program committee is trying to secure the five members of Alpha Phi Omega from AIC in Springfield College to speak at one of our meetings in the near future. A booklet titled “questions and answers about Alpha Phi Omega” will be placed on the bulletin board of each dormitory and fraternity house on campus. A series of articles will be written by Ralph Lawton to be published in the “collegian” explaining the purpose of the fraternity.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:34 p.m.
Respectfully submitted
